Dear Friends of The Old Bath House & Community Centre,

We hope you are keeping well.

We are delighted to hear that we can open again on the 12th of April and we look forward to welcoming back our groups on their gradual return as we start to see a phased lifting of restrictions over the coming months. If you attend a group at The Old Bath House and you have questions about returning, then please contact the group leader. We can assure you that we have measures in place to keep you safe.

To our returning groups, we will be resuming our special conditions of hire during Covid which we’ve had in place since August, and these will continue until the Government guidance allows us to change them. You will all be sent information about these changes as and when they happen. If you would like a reminder of how we are operating during the pandemic, then please contact Claire and she will be happy to assist you.
As part of our reopening, the Dance Studio will be available for groups of up to four people per 2-hour session. The room may be useful to small groups and individuals who would like to rehearse and practice. Please contact Claire with any booking enquiries.

If you are unsure of when your group can return, please see the following link to the Government’s webpage about the reopening of businesses and venues in England.
If you have any up-to-date literature for our notice boards, then please put it into an envelope with your group’s name and pop it through the blue door on Stratford Road so we can put it up for you. Please also email us with any content that you’d like us to share on our socials.

We are thrilled to announce that we are working towards transforming our outside undercover area into a vibrant events space and pop-up alfresco café. Tesco is offering us the use of the space so we can continue helping the community and we can’t wait to get started! We are currently fundraising and have created a Crowdfunder page which is part of the Aviva Community Fund where you can learn more about the project and also help support us if you can. This Crowdfunder campaign will finish on the 23rd of March. The space will be an integral extension of our services while we navigate our way out of the pandemic and also help keep a connected community.

In the meantime, we would like to turn our outside area into a gallery of vibrance and creativity and we need your help to make this happen! We are inviting you to submit artwork designs for display responding to the unusual time we are living in which is open to all ages and abilities. Do you have a lockdown masterpiece that you would like to see displayed? The most creative artworks will be displayed in the outdoor space and all entries will be featured on a new ‘community gallery’ page on our website and on the Wolverton Gallery Facebook page. We have extended the closing date for entries to Saturday 17 April with artwork to be displayed from 17 May 2021 in line with the lifting of lockdown restrictions. Follow Wolverton Gallery and share your artwork with them. Here’s how to enter:

The Old Bath House Team would like to thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
