Learn with your family how to cook delicious meals from scratch. We are looking for adults and children keen to learn a new skill together that will last a lifetime.

The Old Bath House are working with Hubbub to showcase a new after-school cooking skills workshop for children (aged 8-14 years old) and their parents or carers to cook and eat together on Wednesday afternoons between 3.30-6pm.

Across six sessions you will learn how to make six main dishes and six puddings, receive a recipe book and master key skills essential to cooking from scratch such as making a sauce, baking and knife skills.

The menu contains family classic meals such as lasagne, pizza flatbreads and chocolate and banana brownies that will appeal to the whole family.
Sessions are:

16th, 23rd, 30th March, 6th, 27th April, 4th May 3.30-6pm (there is a break for the Easter school holidays)

The sessions are free. Younger or older siblings are welcome to help with the cooking and eating. We’ll ask participants (one young person and one adult) to attend all six sessions and a £5 deposit will be taken at the first session and returned on completion of the six weeks.

If you and your family would like to register for a place, please complete this simple survey. Places are limited to six families. But if you don’t get a spot this time, fear not we’ll keep your details and set up a waiting list in case we are able to run the course again.
