Following the success of their initial classes at the Old Bath House, MK Bhangra Club is now firmly established in Wolverton, offering two separate classes for ladies and for children on Sunday afternoons. Bhangra is a traditional folk dance from the heart of the Punjab, North West India, and the classes offer an opportunity to learn Bhangra, have fun, build stamina and enjoy a great work out to keep fit and active! From Tuesday 4th October, we will have a new belly dance class starting at the Old Bath House and Community Centre! This exciting new foundation level bellydancing class will include a cardio warm up, technique break down, cherography and a full stretch to finish. Classes will run from 8pm-9pm in the dance studio and will cost just £4 per session.
Following the success of their latest concert at the Old Bath House, Wolverton Town Band are looking for new members to join them! It doesn’t matter whether you can play a brass instrument or not – they’d still love to have you! And if you can’t play already, they’ll teach you. Following the successful installation of Kevin’s watercolours at the Old Bath House, we are delighted to announce that Kevin will be here at the Old Bath House for the day on Saturday 3rd September from 10am – 5pm. Come along and view Kevin’s latest painting collection and find out more about his work in person!
We have yet another exciting new group joining us at the Old Bath House! From 6th October onwards we will have Shamanic Drummers MK meeting on the first Thursday of every month. Connect with the Spirit of the Drum and experience and share the rhythmic power and beat of the hand drum for healing, meditation and journeying. Kevin Mortimer’s latest watercolour collection is now up in the Old Bath House and looking amazing! Visitors are welcome to visit the centre on weekday evenings 7-9pm, Saturdays between 10am-4pm, and during the Country Market every Friday 9am-1pm.
